Kundalini dance is a spiritual practice that takes you on an inner journey of self-discovery, awakening the truth of who we are beyond the masks we wear. In kundalini dance we explore freeform dance, breathwork, sound, movement, ritual and tantra, as a powerful way to purify the old and create deep transformation.
This 8-week journey will connect you to your true essence, your divinity. We connect to the earth energy as the divine feminine consciousness and the energy of the sun as the divine masculine consciousness. It is a dance of sacred inner marriage, helping to re-balance the masculine and feminine aspects within us.
Each week we meet and dance our way through the chakra system, from root to crown. These energy centers are like mini-brains that carry programming and soul codes. In these sessions you will be guided to use your breath, sound and movement to surrender open and release any emotions that may be present and holding you back from experiencing divine love or ecstasy.
Love is experienced as expansive and fear as contraction. Our bodies are the messengers of our soul, and they know exactly what they need to heal. When we can presence in the body, surrender control and judgments of the mind, we can open to experience emotional alchemy; the alchemical shift of transmuting pain into art.
There is no set dance moves and absolutely no need to have any previous experience. Just a willingness to explore movement as medicine.
Anyone over 18 is welcome to join. These series are open to both women and men.
We meet each MONDAY night in Eumundi at 6.20 for a 6.30 start, 8.30 finishThere is an online component to this series. Each week you will receive a PDF file of information and practices. There will be a FB group for support and sharing.
