Come celebrate all things Celtic on Saturday 6 October at The Imperial Hotel and Eumundi Brewery.
The festival features some of Australia’s finest Celtic music acts + there’ll be dance, pipe bands, the ancient art of storytelling, and fun Irish music workshops – all guaranteed to hit the spot.
Musicians in the Imperial Beer Garden and the legendary Noosa Pipe Band will get your toes tapping and your blood flowing with their renditions of Irish and Scottish favourites.
Celtic Festival highlights:
MUSIC WORKSHOPS (1 – 3 pm)
$10pp if just attending workshops or FREE with $30 Celtic Festival ticket
Learn to play some Irish jigs and reels on fiddle, banjo, whistle or mandolin + play along to Celtic music on guitar or bodhran (BYO instrument)
IRISH BUSH DANCE (4 – 6pm)
$10pp if just attending Irish Bush Dance or FREE with $30 Celtic Festival ticket. Free entry for children under 14.

CELTIC CONCERT (7 – 10.30pm) 18+ event
Brisbane-based TAWNY open the concert with their own brand of Celtic fire on Irish pipes, fiddle, banjo, bouzouki and vocals.
They’ll be joined on stage by THE CAPE BYRON CELTIC DANCERS, who will perform throughout the night.
Guests are in for a real treat when storyteller IRISH JOE LYNCH (from the foothills of the Cork and Kerry mountains) takes to the stage. Irish Joe is the ultimate raconteur, with a direct connection to that rare and beautiful Ancient Celtic art of storytelling. You will laugh out loud one moment and journey away on a dream the next. A mesmerizing show not to be missed.
Also performing are local Celtic powerhouse band THE BARLEYSHAKES, renowned for holding hands with the tradition of Irish music while infusing it with a fresh and contemporary spirit. Using fiddle, flutes, mandolin, banjo, drums, bass, guitar, and voices, the Shakes have a fresh lively fun take on Celtic world music, and are guaranteed to get you dancing.

And if you still have some energy left, come along to the all-in old-style acoustic Celtic session in the Imperial Beer Garden on Sunday
